I know I’m late to the game with this video, but Holy Crap! This little guy is amazing.
Thanks to my buddy Haig for the find.
If you have an iPhone or an iPad, you can get it here
I personally think that Volvo should probably spend all of this R&D money on avoiding the pedestrian is all conditions as impossible as this might seem. Of course this guy’s head might be protected, but his knees & hibs and ribs will be shattered. Kind of leaves the casualty with a half-life: good brain but a real crappy body for a long time.
This is going to be epic… I’m just not sure that’s a good thing yet. Our neighbours might start using this as a historical document.
Not many people actually know this, but Sesame Street and this this song and video taught me to speak English. I was three and half and would watch this with my funky uncles and sing a long all day… The Children’s Television Workshop has a lot to answer for.
As an attempt to bolster the pride of a nation still devastated from the Cola Wars, a pair of 17-year-old Canadian high school students decided to record their launch of a Lego minifig into space. As this video shows, they were successful. All it took was a few months work and about $500.
We were at a kids party last week and someone brought this awesome balloon that simply floats around the room but can be remote-controlled by a little orange box easy enough for a 3-year-old to move it around the room.
You can pick up a clown fish or a shark from Amazon: Air Swimmers Remote Control Flying Shark
I’ve worked in IT and with Telcos long enough for this be one of the funniest thing I’ve seen in while. Look out for IT Crowd references and through backs to Office Spaces and Outsourced.
Shame about the sound quality, but this is truly is a while new kind of epic.
Thanks to Stephen Hackett for the find.
Well, it finally snowed on Valois Bay and just in time for Santa’s sleigh.
Hope you are all enjoying your holidays with your families and loved.
Remember Give a little, Love a lot.
If you were born in the 80’s or 90’s and did not have a big brother or crazy uncle, then let your Python education begin. And afterwards you can the. Go and watch their excellent Christmas movie: The Life of Brian.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your Monday.
This might possibly be the only app that could get me to actually run outside.
My buddy Ben, aka @Burg42, stumbled across this flash mob happening outside the Frontenac Metro station yesterday afternoon and had the good presence to hit record on his iPhone.
I especially like the bald guy in the white shirt and tie dancing in the background and make sure to stick around until 2:01, it’s worth the wait and build up.

This t-shirt reminds me of this sketch from Daniel Lemire in 1988 with his Rocker Ronnie.
When I watch this video all I see is math equations and oscillating wave forms. I am such a geek!
I can totally see this happening at our house in a few years. I am basing this solely on the level of destruction resulting from our current water fights.

Awesome Canucks fan video which was apparently made for only $150.
